The orientation camp and the Legion experience in SJI

Hello there everyone, today I would like to share with you my experience in SJI. I would be talking about two interesting topics. Let me now share with you the first topic, the Sec 1 orientation camp.

I had wonderful time over this two-day camp. My class was split into three groups, the catholic boys group and I am not very sure about the other two. When we were getting ready to go for the camp, there were a few seniors who just came into the class. At first, I thought they were a bit 'lame' but after a while I thought they were rather 'cool'. They were very entusiastic especialy my senior(we often hang out together), Kevin Martens Wong.He was the weirdest guy that I had ever seen. We started the camp with some ice-breakers and I got to know a lot of my classmates but the best part was at night in the classroom. This was where everyone could see each others true self. My friend, Gregory, was the main talking point in my class after the camp. It all started when we were having a tour around the school, there was this art room where its light was not switched off. It drew a lot of attention of my classmates and the seniors refused to tell us the legend behind the art room- they were scared that we would have nightmares. Soon, it was bedtime and at aproximately 1.45am, Gregory suddenly sat up and shouted, ' Ah! Bad dream, bad dream' . No one was awake at that time and Gregory decided to call me but I was in a deep sleep. Gregory soon said the famous line, ' Moses, Moses are you awake?' . All in all, I have to say that it was a fruitful experience.
Now I would like to talk about my Legion experience in SJI. The people I met from my praesedium , OLGC were great and friendly people. Let me introduce to you to the members of OLGC, we have Fabian(president), Justin(vice-president), Ian(treasurer), Kevin Martens Wong(secretary), Benjamin, Lucien, Nicholas, Reuben, Marcus and other Sec 1 members. We have morning prayer and we usually lead on Mondays. I recently led morning prayer and it was a fun and enriching experience.
I hope you enjoyed this blog my fellow ex-classmates and teachers and I hope you would visit my blog again.
